In fact, both loading the program and the effects I've applied this way work well. If I use something that's automatic, like Instant Photo Fix or Instant Noise Removal, everything works as expected. I installed both 32 and 64 bit versions (the recommendation) and this happens in both versions. I just downloaded PaintShop Pro last week, and this weekend have been poking around to see if it's a keeper or not.
